Project Description

The Tana Delta Water Kiosk Pilot validated our transparent funding model in one of Kenya's most water-stressed regions. We deployed 2 solar-powered purification kiosks in Hola village, serving 340 people across 68 families.

Each kiosk features solar-powered purification and community-owned operations. Every disbursement and impact metric was recorded on Polygon for full auditability.

Results: 62% reduction in waterborne illness, $0.04/L average cost (vs. $0.12/L before), and 2 hours daily time savings per family. This pilot is the template for scaling to 8 kiosks with seed capital.
